| Featuring
over twenty-five new works, the exhibition comprised of paintings
that were part of a retrospective exhibition Shenzhen Museum in
2003 alongside with Ha's new iron sculpture series. Through a wide
range of styles including abstract, figurative and calligraphy,
Ha's so-called "impact" paintings demonstrate superb skills
and unique sensibility for texture and light as in his well-known
sculpture and relief prints; and they represent a feasible solution
in creating 3-dimensional effect on a 2-dimensional surface. |
