Bovey LEE - Where The Waves Break |
Grotto Fine Art takes great pleasure in presenting Bovey Lee's one-woman exhibition Bovey Lee: Where the Waves Break. As a leading Hong Kong artist based in Pittsburgh, Lee's works are well-known for their unique interpretations of Post-modern imageries inspired by her own bicultural experiences. On display are Lee's collection of paper cutout drawings on rice paper that derive visual and conceptual meanings out of juxtaposition of symbols, forms, and spaces. Lee is the winner of the 2009 Pollock-Krasner Foundation Award. |
